Revival Fires Belgium
THE BEGINNING:
In 2005, a young doctor in a group practice was confronted with the needs of sick people and an ordinary medicine could solve it. Many people had questions for which he had not a right answer for. Yet he was a evangelical Christian. So he was looking at God to help people in a differendly way. This quest led by God, brought him in September 2005 for a half year in Canada in a school of ministry. During that six mouths, he sent newsletters to his home church, which were read with interest by his fellow brothers and sisters in the evangelical community. People invited him at their home when he was back, to ask him questions about what he learned in Canada. He radiated something that made you think: "He has found something that I want!" There was a group of evangelical believers who wanted more of God in their lives. Thy met in his living room to praise God and to listen to the young man about: the father heart of God, the Holy Spirit, prophecy,glory school, ... He went back for a conference to TACF in Toronto and after this he attended in a school for some months in Mozambique with Iris Ministries, where he is still working as a doctor and missionary. The group remained meeting faithful every week and also visited their church and their community. Their faith grew in depth and their hunger brought them frequently to conferences in England (ARC Revival Fires in Dudley). One of the conferences in Dudley, the pastor spoke a prophetic word to the present Belgians, that in Europe ARC (apostolic resource centers) would occur and that this would happen in Belgium. The name of Revival Fires Belgium was born. The ways of the homegroup and the evangelical church parted, the group stayed meeting and Revival Fires Belgium is today a group of 15 people who passionately follow Jesus and want to see our nation on fire for Him.
